I ordered this fryer to replace our old Rival fryer. I was drawn to the removeable bowl feature for ease of cleaning. We used it and it works great and is visually appealing, plus all the features are great. My only complaint is there is no timer and no way to shut the machine on and off, it just comes on when you plug it in and shuts off when you unplug it. It's not that big of a deal but on our previous fryer you could set the timer to however long you needed to fry your food, and it would ding and shut off when the time was up. That's the one feature I'll miss with this CoolDaddy and therefore gave it only four stars.

It's a good size for 2 people in the house but the thing that I didn't like is that when you drop the haddle to cook the food something happen that hot water or oil is dropping by the haddle and I burn my hand couple of times so you need to be carefull with it.
But it cooked well.
I bought this as my second fryer. The third time I used this fryer, the oil went up and came out of the fryer then the lid wouldn't close properly and that's the end of it.
Prior to buying this fryer, I had the presto fry daddy for years and it worked fine.

Use it only once after I bought it 2 months ago.

I followed the instructions to fry chicken nuggets -- but only got over-fried. And if you do not have a large family or do not deep frying everyday, you may need think about:
each time, you have to put a lot of oil in the fryer, which is a headache after frying.
I switched to oven to cook nuggets, just nice taste with worry of oil and overburn.
